- My 1960 recently died on me and I was wondering if based on the symptoms
- anyone out there might be able to give me some suggestinos as to what the
- problem is. It started by screwing up the screen. ;) Comparable to
- what would happen if you used a scan rate the monitor couldn't support.
- It would display fine for awhile and then would start doing that. If I
- turned it off and back on it would be ok for a little while but then
- start in again. This went on for a few weeks. Finally, the power
- started flickering to the monitor (display and power light went on and
- off repeatedly) and it then died. Now, does this sound like the power
- switch itself went or the power supply? Those were my guesses and before
- I pay to have someone diagnose it I thought I'd ask here.
